We preview Round 9 in the National Premier Leagues - SA competition as Adelaide City host North Eastern MetroStars at Adelaide City Park on Friday night.
MetroStars are coming off a comfortable 4-1 win at home to West Adelaide. It was a man of the match performance from Dylan Smith who grabbed two goals and an assist to continue a great start to life at T.K. Shutter Reserve. Christian Esposito also got on the score sheet to take his goal tally up to 4 for the season.
Meanwhile Adelaide City are coming off a humiliating 5-0 loss away to Kon Antoniou's Adelaide Comets. Coach Michael Matricciani will want his side to bounce back as City look to climb out of the relegation zone.
MetroStars coach Rob Saraceno almost has a full squad available to his for selection. Tim Henderson got 45 minutes under his belt in the Reserves fixture last week and is hoping to be near a comeback to the first team. Saraceno may look to manage his ahead ahead of next Tuesday's FFA Cup tie against Elizabeth Downs.
