Juniors Results - 6 May

Here are the results from the week ending 6 May in the Junior Premier & State League competitions.

 

The Under 17A defeated Croydon 9-2 to win their second match of the season.

 

The Under 16A had a 2-1 victory over Modbury to move to outright second on the table. Connor Higgins scored twice in the first half to move to 12 goals from 7 matches for the season.

 

The Under 15A secured a 4-3 home victory over Campbelltown City, but were made to sweat it out after going up 4-0 at half time. Ariath Piol scored in the opening minutes, with Francesco Schimizzi and Abbas Habib scoring half way through the match, and Piol scored his second goal of the match just before half time. The Red Devils then scored three goals in the second half, but the Under 15A side held on for the victory.

 

The Under 15JSL went down 5-4 to Para Hills in a highly entertaining match. Louis Rocca scored all four goals.

 

The Under 14A scored twice in the second half to round out a 3-0 victory over Adelaide Olympic at TK Shutter Reserve. Oliver Trimboli scored twice, while Matthew Jakacic also scored. The win moves the side up to third on the table.

 

The Under 14JSL scored five times in the second half, to round out a 8-1 victory over Sturt Lions. Judd Panozzo scored four goals, with Sam Nieuwenhuizen scoring a hat trick. Alem Kopic scored the other goal.

 

The Under 13A were held to a 1-1 draw at home against Croydon, with Alessio Barone the goalscorer.

 

The Under 13JSL side remained undefeated with an 11-0 victory over Croydon. Marcus Ooi scored six times, while James Wallwork scored a hat trick. Greg Lord and Sebastian Zito each chipped in for a goal.

 

The Under 12JSL Gold team remained in second spot on the table, with a convincing 7-2 victory over Sturt Lions. A hattrick to James Stirling was followed goals to Anderson Joachin, Marcus Jones, Tasshveen Prem Kumar and Cameron Rende.

 

The Under 12JSL Red remained undefeated with a 9-1 victory at home against The Cove. Harry Janson scored a hattrick, while Sebastian Dos Santos bagged a double, with Yel Akot, Daniel Marticanaj, Procopio Joshua and Ryan Ayling each scoring.
