R17 Preview - Para Hills Knights vs. MetroStars

We preview Round 17 in the National Premier Leagues - SA competition as MetroStars travel to face Para Hills Knights on Saturday afternoon.

 

MetroStars come into this game following an exhilarating 5-4 win over Adelaide Comets at T.K. Shutter Reserve.

 

The game got off to blistering start with the home side 2 goals up inside 7 minutes courtesy of Joshua Mori and Christian Esposito. Mori added a third before just half time.

 

Comets hit back just two minutes into the second half through a Yengi header.

 

Esposito added his second of the game with a fine long range strike. Allan Welsh scored two penalty kicks before Mori sealed the game in injury time and his hat-trick of goals.

 

Substitute Christofilos added to the score in the 93rd to round a spectacular return to compettion for both side. 

 

Para Hills last weekend fought valiantly against Adelaide City . Logan Marley-Mcfall put the Knights ahead on 9 minutes before second half goals from Bucco and Carter gave the home side the victory.

 

Nahuel Bonada has completed his suspension and will return to the squad. Tim Henderson is suspended following his red card against Adelaide Blue Eagles. Kyle Crout was a late inclusion to the squad last weekend and is available for selection.
