Expressions of Interest – Technical Director Season 2023

North Eastern MetroStars is now accepting applications for suitably qualified and experienced coaching personnel to join its development and youth programs for the 2023 season as a Technical Director.

The club has built a solid reputation on providing a nurturing environment where player development and wellbeing is at its core.

MetroStars values the contribution and the pivotal role our coaches play in our youth development model.

The Technical Director is a key position that oversees the development of players and coaches in our Youth Program along with providing strong leadership qualities and technical knowledge to deliver development programs in accordance with the Club’s Mission Statement.

The Technical Director provides coach education and support, whilst monitoring and mentoring coaches to conduct appropriate quality football sessions within the club playing philosophy that will improve the technical ability of all players so they can fulfill their potential.

Successful applicants will be assigned roles based on their relevant qualifications, experience and the club's needs. A personal interview may be required as deemed necessary by the Junior Sports Director and the Sporting Committee.

Appointments are expected to be finalised by mid September prior to pre-season trials so the necessary forward planning can occur.

Also note that all appointments will be subject to the appropriate Working with Children Clearances and relevant coaching accreditation.
