MetroStars is excited to announce the signing of Rentaro Miyakawa for the 2026 Mens National Premier League South Australia competition.   The 23 year old midfielder joins from US College side North Florida, where he has played for the past four years. Born in Hokkaido, Japan, Miyakawa also played in the highly regarded Japanese High School competition for Komazawa Tomakomai. The process has begun to formalise the debut order of our MetroStars, Metro Knights and Metro United players from 1995 to 2025. Currently we have been able to identify 185 players who made their senior debut (as classed below matches included note) from 2006 to 2025 playing for Metro United. Unfortunately, due to official team sheets pre 2006 currently missing, the process has begun to try and identify the players who represented Metro Knights/MetroStars between 1995 to 2005.

MetroStars is excited to announce the signing of Binyam Kebede for the 2026 Mens National Premier League South Australia competition.   22 year old striker Kebede joins the club from Adelaide City, having made his senior debut for Adelaide United in the NPL in 2020. MetroStars is excited to announce the signing of Samuel Vizy for the 2026 Mens National Premier League South Australia competition.   Vizy joins the club from Victoria Premier League 1 side Brunswick City where he played 31 matches last season. Vizy has previously played for South Melbourne and Kingston City, and also spent time in Greece with OF Ierapetras and in Czech Republic with Prague Raptors.
