Youth Development Football Initiative
MetroStars are thrilled to announce an initiative aimed at accelerating the development of our junior players through firsthand experience with our senior team match days.
At MetroStars, we believe in fostering holistic growth for our young footballers.
That's why we're inviting different junior teams to experience the excitement of our senior team match days!
But this isn't just about watching the game; it's about immersive learning and active participation.
Led by Adam Holmes, our Junior Technical Director, and Danny Graystone, our Senior Head Coach & Technical Director, we've designed a unique workshop-style assessment to engage our young players in observing, analysing, and learning from the senior team's behaviours, techniques, and tactical processes.
Through this initiative, our junior players will have the opportunity to:
Observe firsthand the preparation and performance of our senior team.
Interact with senior players and coaching staff.
Participate in workshops focusing on observation, analysis, and reflection.
We believe that this hands-on approach will not only enhance their technical skills but also instill valuable leadership qualities and a deeper understanding of the game.
Together, we're shaping the future of our sport, one match day at a time.
