Charity Match - MetroStars vs Croydon

Football Federation South Australia (FFSA) is proud to announce the continuation of our relationship with HeartKids as official charity partner for 2018, North Eastern MetroStars to feature in a Charity match this year. FFSA is calling on the Football Family to join the fight against childhood heart disease by supporting our HeartKids Round. Round 10 of the National Premier Leagues and Women’s National Premier Leagues SA will be dedicated to HeartKids. These games coincide with the same teams that were to participate in the HeartKids Charity Games postponed in February due to hot weather; Saturday April 28th – MetroStars v Croydon Kings, 3:00pm at TK Shutter Reserve

Friday May 4th – West Adelaide v Adelaide City, 8:00pm at Adelaide Shores Football Centre

In addition, all FFSA Clubs and Affiliated Associations involved in matches played between Friday 27th April and Sunday 6th May are invited to conduct a fundraising event to participate in the HeartKids Round. Football Federation South Australia will launch the fundraising efforts with a donation of $1,000 and we are calling on our strong network of committed and passionate clubs and associations to contribute to the cause. About HeartKids HeartKids is a registered Health Charity dedicated to providing lifelong support to those with childhood heart disease and their families, be it congenital (born with) or acquired. They also fund life-saving research, supporting leading cardiologists and researches who are working to reduce the incidence of Childhood Heart Disease and to reduce the mortality rates currently being experienced. 8 babies are born with heart disease in Australia every day and 4 precious lives are lost each week.
