MetroStars' Junior To World Cup
North Eastern MetroStars is very excited to share the exciting news that Max Sampson, who plays in our Under 10 Red Mini Roo team, has been selected to be the official match ball carrier for the FIFA World Cup match between Australia and France in Russia.
Max entered a competition through Kia Australia, where participants were asked to submit a story for their love of the game of Football.
The match will be held on Saturday 16 July, with Max to accompany the Socceroos onto the field in that match.
Max has been playing at MetroStars since he was 4 years old, originally joining the club's Shooting Stars Academy.
