Historic NPL & WNPL Clashes at TK

A historic moment tomorrow will see the first ever National Premier League - SA and Women's National Premier League - SA clashes played as a double header at TK Shutter Reserve.

North Eastern MetroStars take on West Adelaide in the National Premier League, with the Women's National Premier League - SA clash between Metro United and West Adelaide playing prior.

The action commences at 11:45am when the WNPL match sees top of the table Metro United facing third placed West Adelaide.

Metro United comes into the match on a six match winning streak, while West Adelaide will be hoping to bounce back with a victory after two drawn matches in their recent rounds.

United will be hoping for another big match from key striker Chrissy Panagaris who is currently leading the Top Goalscorer charts with 18 goals for the season.

In the NPL clash kicking off at 3pm, second placed MetroStars takes on seventh placed West Adelaide in a vital clash for both clubs as the season heads towards the finals series.

MetroStars will be eager to get back to the winners list, after only claiming three points in the past three matches, including a 2-1 loss away to Adelaide United in their last match.

West Adelaide currently sit one point outside the top six finals spots, and a victory in this match will be a boost to their finals chances. West Adelaide have only earned one point from their last five matches.
