Junior Cup Quarter Finals


North Eastern MetroStars will be represented by four teams in the 2018 FFSA Sportspower Zorich Group Cup Quarter Finals.

Our Under 12 JPL, Under 13 (JPL), Under 14 (JSL) and Under 17 teams will play this weekend in the Quarter Finals.

The Cup Finals will be held on Sunday 16th of September at VALO Football Centre – The Parks.

Under 12 Cup Croydon (JPL) vs MetroStars (JPL) Sunday 15 July - 12:00pm Regency Oval, Regency

This is an exciting match up between third placed Croydon in the U12 Yellow JPL competition, up against second placed MetroStars in the Under 12 Red JPL competition.

MetroStars advanced to the Quarter Finals, after Antony Rapuano's sole goal against Raiders (JPL) sealed the passage to the next round.

MetroStars go into this match as favourites based on the competition levels, but Adelaide City JSL team has been dominate in their league this season.

After a tight first half against Para Hills, Jeanpaul Mbembe scored twice in the second half for MetroStars, to complete his hattrick and send his team into the Quarter Finals.

On paper it looks like a David vs Goliath battle, as MetroStars JSL face Raiders who play in the Under 13A JPL competition. But MetroStars have been dominate in their Under 14 JSL league this season, so this match could go either way.

MetroStars JSL have defeated two JPL teams convincingly to move into the Quarter Finals.

Under 17 Campbelltown City vs MetroStars Friday 13 July - 8:15pm Steve Woodcock Sports Centre, Newton

Huge local debry clash as neighbours Campbelltown and MetroStars go into battle this Friday night under lights. Campbelltown currently sit in fifth spot on the Under 17A table, just 3 points ahead of sixth placed MetroStars.

Awal Dut scored five minutes from full time, to seal MetroStars passage to the Quarter Finals.
