Juniors Results - 12 August

Here are the results from the week ending 12 August in the Junior Premier & State League competitions.

The Under 17A team went down to FFSA NTC 7-2 at the Valo Football Cente.

The Under 16A team continued their impressive season, with a 5-1 victory over Adelaide City to remain 8 points clear at the top of the table. Joseph Macheda scored twice, while Peter Unerkov, Thomas Disney and Gusmao Naidoo also scored in the second half.

The Under 15A side held on for a 4-3 away victory over Campbelltown City on Friday night to remain in third spot. Ariath Piol bagged a double, while Abbas Habib and Luca Callisto got on the scoresheet.

The Under 15JSL team had their match against Para Hills postponed.

The Under 14A outfit remained top of the table with a 5-3 victory away to Adelaide City. Michael Anfiteatro opened the scoring, with Sebastian Rapuano making it 2-1 just before half time. Marco Matto, Lorenzo Moffa and Ariath Piol rounded out the scoring.

The Under 14JSL side continued to head the table, with a 3-0 win over Adelaide Thunder. Alesandro Beatrice and James Mannella scored in the first half, while Jack Foster scored the third just before full time.

The Under 13A team went down 7-1 to West Adelaide. Anthony Troiani was the sole scorer for MetroStars.

The Under 13JSL team played out an entertaining 3-3 draw away to Cumberland United. Sebastian Zito, James Wallwork and Thomas Mastrantuone were the goal scorers. The Under 12JPL side defeated Croydon 3-1 with Marcus Iommazzo scoring a hattrick. The Under 12JSL Gold team had their match against Raiders postponed. The Under 12JSL Red side defeated West Adelaide 3-1, with Conrad Smith, Manna Lokolo and Anthony Corrente the goalscorers. * Please note, match results and goalscorers are as submitted on the FFSA Website.
