Prelim Final Preview - Adel City vs MetroStars

North Eastern MetroStars and Adelaide City do battle this Saturday for a place in the National Premier League - SA Grand Final.

The winner will face Campbelltown City in the Grand Final the following weekend.

This season has seen the spoils split between the two sides, with MetroStars winning 2-0 at Adelaide City Park back in April, while Adelaide City won the return leg at TK Shutter 2-1, which saw Adelaide City pip MetroStars for second spot on the table, on goal difference.

MetroStars overcame Adelaide Olympic 1-0 over 120 minutes in the Elimination Final, while backing up with a hard fought 1-0 win over Adelaide United in the Elimination Semi Final.

Fabian Barbiero will have a late fitness test to see if he makes the match day squad.

Adelaide City held Campbelltown City to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their Finals encounter, with Campbelltown securing a Grand Final spot with a 1-0 victory at home the following week, although there was late drama, when Adelaide City were denied a penalty in the 94th minute.

Adelaide City will be without Evan Kostopoulos who was sent off after 10 minutes in the match against Campbelltown City, who is the only player from his side not to miss a match this season.
