FFA Cup Preview - Elizabeth Downs vs. MetroStars

We preview the Quarter Finals of FFA Cup SA Qualifying as SAASL Sunday Division 1 champions Elizabeth Downs host North Eastern MetroStars at Argana Park on Tuesday evening.

MetroStars are coming off a 1-0 away loss to Adelaide City last Friday night (highlights here) and will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing performance. Meanwhile our opponents Elizabeth Downs comfortably dismantled East Adelaide 5-0 in the SAASL Challenge Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Head Coach Robbie Saraceno will be expecting a big response from his squad following a sub-par showing against Adelaide City. Captain Michael D'Aloisio is suspended after receiving a red card against Adelaide City. Tom Strain and Christian Esposito face fitness tests Monday night after both being subbed off early against Adelaide City.

Bailey Truscott will be a familiar face on the opposition lineup spent two years at MetroStars before signing for the Adelaide United youth team in 2016. James Odenwalder will be a goal threat having scored 3 goals in 4 games.
