MetroStars thump Raiders in Elimination Final

MetroStars has hit form at the right time and thumped Raiders 4-0 in their elimination final at the Croatian Sports Centre on Saturday.

Christian Esposito, Nahuel Bonada, Hamish Gow and Matt Dawber scored for the visitors. You could not wipe the smile off the face of MetroStars coach Rob Saraceno after the match.

“We have been playing with some great confidence the last few weeks and wrapped with today’s win,” Saraceno said.

“We did what we had to do in tricky conditions, they controlled the first half but we were lucky to score against play and our second half was fantastic.”

MetroStars will play Olympic this Saturday 6PM at the VALO Football Centre in the next round of finals.
