North Eastern MetroStars would like to congratulate captain Michael D’Aloisio on his nomination for Life Membership of Football Federation South Australia for his outstanding contribution to football in South Australia. D’Aloisio made his senior debut at the age of 15 in 2001 for Para Hill Knights in their Round 11 match against Northern Demons. He played junior football for Elizabeth Grove, Salisbury City and St Augustines before playing for Para Hills’ youth teams. In 2002, he was selected to be part of the South Australian Sports Institute program. At the completion of that season, D’Aloisio joined MetroStars, where he played 13 matches in the 2003 South Australian Premier League.

He was part of the 2004 MetroStars team that won the treble, claiming the League, Premiership and Cup titles. After 29 matches over three seasons at MetroStars, D’Aloisio joined Campbelltown City where he played 122 matches from 2006-2011, where he captained the side in the later years. In 2012, D’Aloisio re-joined MetroStars, and made an impact in the club’s double run, claiming the League & Cup titles.
D’Aloisio was also part of the club’s inaugural National NPL title in 2014, and won the Federation Cups again in 2016 and 2017.
From all at MetroStars, we congratulate Michael on an outstanding achievement. Michael will be presented with his Life Membership at half-time of Saturday's NPL Grand Final at Cooper Stadium
