Wooding calls time on career

North Eastern MetroStars can confirm that midfielder Liam Wooding has decided to call time on his playing career.
Wooding informed the club of his decision last week and confirmed the news on social media yesterday.
Liam made 132 appearances for MetroStars, scoring 34 goals, over three spells with the club. He helped the club win the Minor Premiership in 2013 as well as back to back Federation Cup wins in 2016 and 2017, with Wooding scoring the only goal in the 2016 Final.
MetroStars would like to wish Liam all the best in the future.
