Club Update

Dear Members of North Eastern MetroStars Family,

First and foremost, I hope this letter finds you all well and that everyone is taking the right preventative measures and precautions with the current COVID-19 outbreak..

Football South Australia’s decision to suspend all activities until April 14 has been supported by the recent announcements by both the State and Federal Government, and we commend Football South Australia for their forward stance on the situation. Football South Australia are working tirelessly in consultation with all clubs and associations, health experts, the Government and the Football Federation of Australia to ensure the appropriate measures are in place.

Our Club Executive Committee is working with the relevant bodies to best plan and manage the situation moving forward in relation to our club. We appreciate there are many concerns, at present. Whilst we are not able to provide definitive responses, the management team is working tirelessly to ensure the club is able to deal with the ever-changing circumstances. Many of the unfolding events and uncertainty is beyond the Club’s control. Consequently, we ask our members to please be considerate and not place any added pressure on the club during this unprecedented time. Together with Football South Australia, we are all working in unison to ensure the long-term sustainability of our Club and it's affiliated competitions.

We will keep you updated as further information comes to hand.
