MetroStars is excited to announce Brenton Marusic as our Under 16 Youth Club Championship (YCC) Coach for season 2026.

Brenton joined the club with strong experience in youth development and senior playing success. Brenton was Under 18 coach at Blue Eagles in 2024 and 2025, and has coached junior teams including Under 16s at Campbelltown City.

Brenton has experience playing at Federation and Amateur level including stints at Campbelltown, MetroStars & Adelaide University as some of the clubs he has featured.

Brenton's coaching philosophy is centered on creating a safe learning environment and developing players to progress to higher levels.

We look forward to Brenton developing our next stars who will be looking to progress into the seniors set up.

MetroStars is excited to announce Matt Kemp and Ivan Karlovic as our Under 15 Youth Club Championship (YCC) Coaches for season 2026.

Matt has been part of the MetroStars' coaching ranks in MiniRoos and Junior teams for a number of years and continues in our YCC program having been coach of the YCC U14 Boys in 2025. Having spent 14 years playing in the National Soccer League & A-League and represented the Socceroos in 2010, Matt brings immense experience.

Matt brings a deep understanding of football and the process of youth development which he can pass on to the next generation of talent at MetroStars. His principles are formed around a deep passion for the game and the belief that work ethic and discipline is fundamental for growth.

As well as a coach, Ivan will also be the Youth Performance Phase Lead Coach managing the YCC Boys teams in 2026. An experienced player and coach, Ivan's resumes speaks for itself, leading MetroStars to the 2014 National NPL title.

Ivan is an experienced development coach with numerous junior coaching roles, aswell as coaching Adelaide United A-Leagues Womens side for three years and previously leading as their Head of Women’s Football.

Matt and Ivan have a commitment to help foster and develop the next senior players.

MetroStars is excited to announce Michael Manou and Rick Cerracchio as our Under 14 Youth Club Championship (YCC) Coaches for season 2026.

Over the past 12 years, Michael has coached numerous boys and girls Miniroos and Junior Premier League sides, including at MetroStars. In 9 of those 12 years, Michael has coached two teams per season, which has provided him experience at various levels of junior football.

Rick is an experienced coach at youth and senior football levels, having coached MetroStars to the 2012 Premier League title. Rick has been involved in various levels of youth programs at MetroStars. Last season, Rick was head coach of Adelaide Olympic in the State League 1 competition, and previously head coach of Adelaide Victory.

Football development is the key aspect of Michael and Rick's coaching philosophy, which has seen many players move into senior and state level football programs.

MetroStars is excited to announce Roger Cavaiuolo as our Under 13 Youth Club Championship (YCC) Coach for season 2026.

Roger has been a dedicated junior coach with MetroStars, playing a key role in developing young talent through the club’s junior pathway program.

Under his leadership, his team have achieved significant success:

2021: Coached the Under‑12 JPL side to become Premier League winners, demonstrating strong team growth and competitive excellence.

2022: Built on that success, guiding the Under‑13 JPL team to claim the championship title in their division.

2025: Serving as Assistant Coach for the Under‑16 YCC squad, contributing to the club’s elite youth pathway.

Roger's ongoing commitment since 2016 has helped foster both individual player development and strong team performances, contributing to MetroStars’ reputation in junior development.
