MetroStars is excited to announce Daniel Mignone as our Under 16 Youth Club Championship (YCC) Girls Coach for season 2026.

Daniel has an extensive playing career at senior level where he won League Championships with Croatia and WT Birkalla and Cup title with Playford City, and at junior level was a state player throughout his youth career.

Over the past 3 years, Daniel has transitioned into coaching within the junior girls' program at Campbelltown City, most recently leading their Under 15 YCC team.

Daniel's coaching philosophy is centered on player development, building confidence, and creating an environment where players enjoy their football while pushing themselves to grow. Football has given Daniel so much, and his passion now lies in passing that on to the next generation. of players.

MetroStars is excited to announce Rob Alaia and Emma Cotgrove as our Under 15 Youth Club Championship (YCC) Girls Coaches for season 2026.

Rob has been coaching at Metro United since 2021 where he commenced with the Under 11 team and is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

Rob brings a focus on player development, team cohesion, and foundational skills.

Rob will also form part of our Executive Committee, where he will be focusing on growth and development of female football programs across the club.

Emma is a stalwart of Metro United having began playing at the club in U15s in 2017, progressing through the youth program including captaining the U17 team to the League and Cup double in 2019.

Emma made her senior debut in 2020, forming part of Metro United's WNPL Championship side. Emma currently still plays for Metro United's WNPL team, where she has been vice captain since 2013.

MetroStars is excited to announce Michael Maresca and Adam Giancaspro as our Under 14 YCC (girls) coaches for season 2026.

Adam and Michael have been dedicated members of the Metro United community since 2019. Both enjoyed successful senior-level playing careers at the Federation level and are committed to sharing their knowledge and experience with the Metro girls' program.

From the beginning, Adam and Michael agreed that if they ever transitioned into coaching, they would do it together. Three years on, they remain side by side on the sidelines—grateful for the opportunity and fully invested in the journey. They share a strong alignment in values, particularly around team culture, player development, and the pursuit of both individual and team success.

This past season, they proudly led their team to the Cup Final, narrowly missing out in a penalty shootout. More significantly, their squad topped the table in the inaugural U13 YPL Girls competition—an achievement that reflects both the team’s growth and their leadership.

Looking ahead to the 2026 U14 YPL season, Adam and Michael are enthusiastic about continuing to build on this year’s momentum. They remain focused on developing their players and fostering continued success, both on and off the pitch

MetroStars is excited to announce Adam Daniele as our Under 13 Youth Club Championship (YCC) Girls Coach for season 2026.

Adam joined Metro United in 2024 and was Head Coach of Under 12 YSL and Assistant Coach of Under 13 YSL in 2025.

Adam played many years of football since the age of 10 and also played a variety of other sports including cricket, aussie rules and volleyball, which enables him to use that experience in coaching football.

Adam is passionate about development. His goal is to create a positive and engaging environment where the kid's can grow their skills, stay motivated, and build a lifelong connection to this great game.
