MetroStars is excited to announce that our clubrooms will be named the Joe Tripodi Function Room in honour of the Joe Tripodi.

In 2005, MetroStars secured land to build and sell a home thanks to Joe Tripodi’s vision and leadership. All profits from the venture were committed to the club's future. The project's profit was used to fund a major facility upgrade at TK Shutter Reserve in 2005, including new clubrooms and a rebuilt playing surface.

This marked a turning point for the club, providing a true home and the infrastructure to grow and compete at a higher level. Joe’s generosity laid the foundation for the club’s next era of success.

Beyond the immediate financial gain, this initiative symbolised a shift in the club’s long-term planning and ambition. It demonstrated what could be achieved through strategic thinking and community-driven leadership.

Joe's efforts not only transformed the physical landscape of the club but also inspired a culture of reinvestment, pride, and forward momentum that continues to influence the club’s direction to this day.

This weekend at our Senior Men's match we will officially present Joe with the naming of our clubrooms.
