Current & Former MetroStars Players To Feature For AUFC Legends
Current and former MetroStars players are set to feature for Adelaide United Legends this weekend in a match against the Australian Defence Force Football Team.
Fabian Barbiero, Adam Van Dommele, Jason Spagnuolo and Travis Dodd are set to feature for the AUFC Legends.
Barbiero, who currently plays for our senior side, featured 114 times for United between 2007-2013.
Van Dommele, who is currently one of our Senior Team Assistant Coaches, played 29 matches for United between 2005-2007.
Spagnuolo, played 55 times for United between 2006-2009, and is current coaching one of our U6 Mini Roos teams.
Dodd, who played and coached in our Senior Team, represented United 166 times between 2005-2011.
The match will be held as a curtain raiser to the A-League encounter between Adelaide United and Perth Glory at Hindmarsh Stadium, as part of the Anzac Day event.
