MetroStars expresses our deepest condolences to the Tripodi family, after the passing of Joe Tripodi. Our thoughts are with his wife Pat and his family at this time.

Only this past weekend we were able to honour Joe Tripodi with the unveiling of the Joe Tripodi Function Room at our clubrooms at TK Shutter Reserve, a legacy that will carry his name forever at our club. His financial contribution helped us to build these very clubrooms we still utilise today.

In every respect, Joe has been a wonderful contributor to the success of our club. His dedication to our club over the past 30 years, in particular in our forming years, is much appreciated and valued by our members. His unwavering support and mentorship he provided many of our past Presidents and committee members will never be forgotten.

In the 2017 Queen's Birthday Honours, Joe Tripodi was awarded a Medal of Honour of Australia (OAM) for services to Football and the multicultural community.

May He Rest In Peace.
