EOI - 2024 Development Phase Coaches (U12-U17)

To all aspiring coaches who have the ambition, passion and commitment to develop future

footballers and help young players fulfil their potential , North Eastern MetroStars is now

accepting applications for suitably qualified and experienced coaches to join it’s

Development Phase Program (U12-U17) for the 2024 season.

Within this Phase you will work under the guidance of our current Club Technical Director

and Senior Head Coach Danny Graystone who has a wealth of experience in Youth

Development including 4 years at Melbourne Victory F.C. where he held the positions of

Academy Coaching Lead and Youth Team Head Coach as well as numerous Head Coaching roles throughout Australia.

You will also work directly under our newly appointed Junior Technical Director Adam

Holmes who recently joined us from the Perth Glory Senior set up having spent time

working at Central Coast Mariners, Melbourne Victory, Brisbane Roar and the Australia

Under 17 National Team Set up. Adam will work closely with all coaches instilling the club

playing philosophy and coaching methodology throughout the Development Phase.

The club encourages and will help fund coach education and development through training

courses/licensing/and club workshops as appropriate.

Successful applicants will be assigned teams and positions based on their relevant

qualifications, experience and the club's needs. A personal interview may be required as

deemed necessary by the Technical Directors and the Sporting Committee.

All coaching Appointments are expected to be finalised by the end of September prior to

pre-season trials so the necessary forward planning can occur.

Please note that ALL appointments will be subject to holding a valid Working with Children

Clearance and relevant Coaching Accreditation.
