EOI - 2024 MiniRoo Coaches (U6-11)

To all aspiring coaches who have the ambition passion and commitment to be the very best they can be, North Eastern MetroStars is now accepting applications for suitably qualified and experienced coaching personnel to join its junior development and youth programs for the 2024 season.

The club has built a solid reputation on providing a nurturing environment where player development and wellbeing is at its core.

MetroStars values the contribution and the pivotal role our coaches play in our youth development model.

Within this Phase you will work under the guidance of our current MiniRoo Technical Director Ernie Luongo who has a wealth of experience in the Foundation Development Phase, a role he has had for over 20 years. He has been instrumental in setting up our Shooting Star Program which has been a huge success in developing our MiniRoo teams.

The club encourages and will help fund coach education and development through training courses/licencing/and club workshops as appropriate.

• Head Coaches

• Assistant Coaches

• Specialist Coaches (eg. Skill Acquisition, Goalkeeping)

Teams for 2024 season:

MiniRoos - (Multiple teams in each age group)

• U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11

Successful applicants will be assigned teams and positions based on their relevant

qualifications, experience and the club's needs. A personal interview may be required as

deemed necessary by the Technical Directors and the Sporting Committee.

All coaching Appointments are expected to be finalised by the end of September prior to

pre-season trials so the necessary forward planning can occur.

Please note that ALL appointments will be subject to holding a valid Working with Children

Clearance and relevant Coaching Accreditation.
