Get To Know: David Terminello

Introducing our Under 14 JPL coach David Terminello, who is well known at our club and the soccer community.

The former National Soccer League player with Adelaide City, Carlton SC and Adelaide United played over 100 matches between 1998 and 2004 before returning to play in the local leagues with MetroStars.

David also represented Australia at Under 20 level in 1999 and played for the Australian Schoolboys in 1997.

He also coached MetroStars senior team in 2010 and 2011 and has coached at junior level at MetroStars for a number of years now.

Last season, David led his Under 12 side to the Under 12 Junior Cup title.

David will be assisted this season by Roger Cavaiuolo.

When asked who is coaching mentor/s are, David said "I like to listen and learn off everyone".

We asked David how his team is travelling this preseason.

"Our team is coming together well and I am looking forward to seeing their development over the course of the season."

When asked what we can expect to see from his team this season, David said.

"Hopefully a fast energetic style of football that is exciting to watch."
