Get To Know: John Vulpiani

Introducing our Under 10 Yellow coach John Vulpiani, who has been at the club since 2014 in various roles.

John has three sons at MetroStars, and has coached or been assisting our juniors structure since 2014 in a number of different roles.

This season John will be assisted by Abid Vuckic and Christian Albertini.

John highlights his coaching mentor Terry Frangakis who has helped guide him through his coaching journey at MetroStars.

Whilst this preseason has been interrupted by hot weather, the team is looking forward to their first trial match this weekend.

The team has been in high spirits this preseason.

"The boys have shown a lot of excitement and enthusiasm which I’m thrilled with," said John.

When asked what we can expect to see from his team this season, John stated the team's focus was on the club's core applications.

"My primary focus is on the 4 core skills and having a team that understands how to position themselves in order to keep possession during a game."
