Graystone Extends Contract For 2 Years

MetroStars is delighted to announce the appointment extension of Danny Graystone as the club’s Full Time Senior NPL Head Coach for seasons 2026 and 2027.

Graystone’s re-appointment was made ahead of the club’s participation in the National Premier League South Australia (NPLSA) Finals Series and the Australian Championships, the inaugural national second division competition, commencing in October.

Graystone has led the club to a three-peat of NPLSA Premierships, while also leading the side in the 2023 and 2025 Federation Cup titles and participating in the Australia Cup reaching the Round of 16 in 2025 and Quarter finals in 2023.

Club President Rob Rende commented on the re-appointment,

“On behalf of the Executive Committee, it is with great pleasure that we announce the re-appointment of Danny, as we head into an exciting new chapter for the club in participating in the Australian Championship.”

“We are confident that his leadership, expertise and commitment will guide our team to success in the coming years.”

In response to the news, Graystone remarked,
