MetroStars confirm coaching appointments for 2021

North Eastern MetroStars is delighted to announce the re-appointment of Rob Saraceno as the club's Head Coach for the 2021 National Premier League season.
Saraceno joined MetroStars in 2015 as an Assistant Coach to Michael Pirone before taking over as Head Coach midway through 2016. He led the club to consecutive Federation Cup wins in 2016 and 2017.
Saraceno will have the support of former MetroStars captain Adam van Dommele, who returns to club in a coaching role having played for Raiders in the NPL last season.
Van Dommele enjoyed an illustrious career for the club including captaining the club to the National NPL Title in 2014. Van Dommele played 233 matches for the club, currently sitting as the fourth most played matches for the club.
His achievements at the club as a player also includes captaining the squad from 2014 to 2016, 2 League Championships, 5 Minor Premierships and 3 Federation Cup titles.
Nick Bouzalas will also continue on as assistant coach, having proved himself to be an invaluable asset in 2020.
Terry Frangakis has been appointed as Reserves coach while David Moffa returns as Under 18 coach following a hugely successful 2020 season, winning the Under 18 Premiership and Championship double.
