Miyakawa Joins MetroStars

MetroStars is excited to announce the signing of Rentaro Miyakawa for the 2026 Mens National Premier League South Australia competition.

The 23 year old midfielder joins from US College side North Florida, where he has played for the past four years. Born in Hokkaido, Japan, Miyakawa also played in the highly regarded Japanese High School competition for Komazawa Tomakomai.

Miyakawa made the Atlantic Sun Conference Second Team in 2024, the same year his team won the Atlantic Sun Conference.
