National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

At MetroStars, we promote and facilitate reconciliation by building positive and meaningful relationships, with respect and trust, between our football and local community and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Our commitment is demonstrated by the club’s involvement in South Australian Aboriginal Secondary Training Academy. This is a sports-based education program for male & female Aboriginal Students in Years 10, 11 & 12 run in partnership with MetroStars Soccer Club run by Stefan Cali.

MetroStars’ is committed to:

• Building stronger cross cultural relations

• Equality and Equity

• Institutional Integrity

• Unity

• Historical Acceptance
