Robertson Joins As NPL Mens Assistant Coach

MetroStars would like to announce the appointment of Lee Robertson as Assistant Coach of the NPL Men’s side for the remainder of the 2026 season.

Robertson joins Adam Van Dommele’s staff alongside Assistant Coach Scott Tunbridge.

Robertson is a six time Club Champion with MetroStars, the award that now bears his name. In his time at MetroStars as a player, Robertson helped the club to 3 League Championships, 3 Federation Cups, 7 Minor Premierships, and 1 NPL National Championship, and captained the side between 2011-2013.

Robertson coaching experience includes SAASL Saturday Premier Division side BOSA and youth teams at various clubs.

MetroStars would also like to thank Ivan Karlovic for his role as Assistant Coach, which was an interim role he took during a transition period to assist with the appointment of Van Dommele. Karlovic continues with his role as our Boys Youth Club Championship (YCC) Phase Lead Coach managing the U13-U16 Boys teams.
