Sartirani Joins MetroStars

MetroStars is excited to announce the signing of Rachele Sartirani for the 2026 Womens National Premier League South Australia competition.

Italian born Rachele Sartirani has spent the past seven years playing in Spain, recently playing in the Gerard Piqué owned Queens League, a 7 a side competition, for Porcinas FC and Kunitas FC.
Sartirani's football journey began playing for Italian side ACF Brescia from Under 12-15, a club who regularly participated in the UEFA Womens Champions League. She progressed into senior football in the Italian Serie B with Orobica Calcio Bergamo for four seasons, before moving to ASD Monterosso for two seasons.

Her journey then saw her move to Spain, where she spent the next seven years playing for various Barcelona based clubs including FC Martinenc, CE Europa, FC Sant CUgat and CE Sant Gabriel. She also participated in the Barça Innovation Hub, where she graduated from the first alumni generation, where she played for the club and worked on ideas for growing women's sports.
