Sotira Joins MetroStars

MetroStars is pleased to announce the signing of Christian Sotira for the 2024 National Premier League SA season.

The talented midfielder spent the past two seasons with FK Beograd, including winner the club's Best & Fairest this past season, and has played 82 matches at senior level in South Australia.

Christian made his senior debut as a 14 year old for Eastern United in 2016, playing 9 matches for the club, and followed up the following season with 6 matches for Eastern United, before moving overseas mid year to trial in Italy.

Christian was selected for Udinese youth teams and after impressing, he signed for Serie C club US Triestina.

Christian returned to Australia and played for Adelaide Blue Eagles in 2020 and 2021, before joining FK Beograd in 2022.
