MetroStars is pleased to share an exciting opportunity on behalf of Sports College South Australia, which supports athletes looking to combine their football development with their secondary schooling in a structured, high-performance environment.
Athlete Development Program (ADP) Years 9–12
The ADP is a specialist high-performance pathway designed for emerging athletes who are ready to take the next step in their development.
Delivered at TK Shutter Reserve, MetroStars, the program is built for athletes who are:
Highly driven and committed to performance improvement
Actively training and competing at a high level
Aspiring toward representative, collegiate, semi-professional, or professional pathways
Ready for a more advanced development environment
The program integrates training, wellbeing, strength and conditioning, mindset development, and education to support consistent growth on and off the court.
Best for: Committed high-potential athletes wanting to take the next step.
Sport Immersion Program (SIP) Years 11–12
For students passionate about football and learning through sport.
Delivered at either Gepps Cross, Ellis Park or Cove, students will:
· Complete SACE through project-based, football-focused learning
· Work directly with industry partners and sport organisations through partnerships with the Adelaide United and Football South Australia
· Access coaching, refereeing, and accreditation opportunities within football
· Engage in game day experiences, events, and real-world sport environments
Best for: Students who love football and want real industry exposure. Open to all ability levels.
Information Session on 18 May at Karen Rolton Oval
We invite MetroStars athletes and families to attend an upcoming Information Session on 18 May to learn more about both programs. This session is a great opportunity to understand how these programs can support both sporting development and education and help identify the pathway that best suits each athlete.
