Tantari Joins MetroStars
MetroStars is pleased to announce the signing of Stefan Tantari for the 2024 National Premier League SA season.
The 20 year old attacking player joins the club from Tasmanian National Premier League side Launceston City.
Stefan has amassed over 100 senior matches in Tasmania since making his senior debut at 15 years of age for Devonport Strikers, where he was part of their 2019 Tasmania National Premier League championship side.
Stefan has also featured for Tasmania at National Championships in Under 13 and 14 and been part of Joeys training camps.
Stefan spoke to metrostars.com.au about joining the club.
"I'm absolutely thrilled at the prospect of representing MetroStars in the upcoming 2024 season."
"What makes this opportunity even more exciting is the chance to be closer to my family in Adelaide."
"I am confident that I would bring a dynamic and impactful presence to MetroStars. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to become part of the team and contribute to its success in the upcoming season."
Senior Coach & Head Technical Director Danny Graystone was excited about Stefan joining the club.
“ Stefan is an exciting young attacking player that we were tracking last season due to his performances over in Tasmania and his significant achievements despite his relatively young age."
"He joined us early pre season for a trial period worked extremely hard and has shown that his character and ambition match up to the expectations we have here at MetroStars."
"The coaching staff were extremely impressed with his qualities on the ball and his desire to learn and improve his performance."
"We are looking forward to working with him in 2024 to take his game to the next level and to see him fulfil his potential."
We welcome Stefan and his family to our club and wish him all the best in season 2024.
