WNPL & Under 18 Coach Appointments

MetroStars is excited to announce the appointments of Michael Hadaj and Nick Kostantakis as our WNPL Assistant Coaches and Terry Kyriacou as our Under 18 YPL Girls Head Coach for season 2026.

Michael has been in the role as Head Coach of Metro United’s WNPL Reserves side for the past four seasons, leading the side to the WNPL Reserves Championship in 2022 and 2024. He also has held various junior level coaching roles at Metro United, including leading the Under 13 team to the Championship in 2015.

Nick joins the club after undertaking the role as WNPL Assistant Coach as West Torrens Birkalla in 2025. Nick’s experience also includes WNPL Reserves Head Coach at WT Birkalla in 2023 & 2024, and was also WNPL Assistant Coach at the club in 2021 and 2022.

Terry is well known in women’s football with his long standing coaching and committee roles at Metro United. Terry has worked under the WNPL & WNPL Reserves teams at Metro United over the past 18 seasons, and was Head Coach of Metro United’s Under 17 team. With over 20 years of playing experience in the SA Amateur Soccer League, he brings a lot of experience into the newly formed Under 18 Girls competition.
