Kings Defeat MetroStars in Cup Thriller

Croydon Kings have knocked out reigning Federation Cup Winners North Eastern MetroStars with a come from behind 2-1 victory at Polonia Reserve today.

After a tight first half, it looked like MetroStars had a penalty just after half time with a handball inside the box, but the referee waved away the appeals.

But it didnt take long for MetroStars to take the lead, with Liam Wooding slotting the ball into the back of the net from outside the box after 57 minutes.

10 minutes from time, Paul Radice levelled the scores and scored again with minutes remaining to send the Kings into the Quarter Finals.
