Liam Wooding joined MetroStars in 2013, and has played over 100 matches for the first team.
Wooding was part of the Adelaide United Youth team in 2009, and in 2010 made his senior debut for Adelaide Galaxy, playing in 10 matches that season for the club.
He then spent the next two years with Adelaide United, and made his A-League debut on 23 March 2012 in a round 27 match against Melbourne Heart at Hindmarsh Stadium.
In 2013, Wooding joined MetroStars and was part of the side that won the season's minor premiership. He also was part of the 2016 and 2017 Federation Cup title campaigns.
Wooding is a two time MetroStars Club Champion Award winner claiming the Player of the Year Award in 2015 and 2017.
His highest accolade came in 2017, when he was crowned the Segio Melta Medallist for the National Premier League - SA Player of the Year.
