LIVE STREAM: Football SA Celebration of Football

Football South Australia’s annual awards night, the Celebration of Football – proudly presented by RAA Travel, will be held as a virtual event in 2020. 

The Celebration of Football will be broadcast via the Football South Australia Facebook and YouTube channels on Wednesday 11 November at 7.30 pm. The awards night will be hosted by Channel 9’s Tom Rehn and Sports MC Jarrod Walsh from the RAA Room at Coopers Stadium. 

The highly regarded event, which dates back to 2012, is held to recognise the achievements of all of the game’s stakeholders. Traditionally a black-tie function for more than 900 guests, the virtual awards will aim to acknowledge these achievements in line with current COVID guidelines, it what has been a challenging year for the sport. 

In keeping with tradition, the awards night will conclude by announcing the winners of the prestigious Sergio Melta Medal and Shirley Brown Medal, awarded the best player from the NPL and WNPL South Australia competitions respectively.
