Trials for 2011 Season

Trials for season 2011 will commence on Sunday 10 October 2010.  Trials for vacant positions will be held for age groups U8 to U11.  Open trials will be held for age groups U12 to U19.

Congratulations Michael Pirone

Not only has Michael Pirone contributed strongly to MetroStars over the years, he has also now been recognised for his outstanding contribution to Soccer in South Australia.  The FFSA recently awarded Michael the FFSA Player Life Membership for 2010.

We are proud to have one of our MetroStars players recognised in this light.


Shooting Stars Soccer Academy

The programme is run on Friday Nights or Sunday Day.  Parents interested in the programme need to print (a double-sided copy) and fully
complete the Amateur Registration Form.

Shooting Stars Soccer Academy has a vision to provide opportunities for young players to play, learn and enjoy soccer at all levels from ages 4 and up. Shooting Stars also has gained a strong reputation as a reputable resource for MetroStars Soccer Club and its development for future players and coaches.  Shooting Stars Soccer Academy has a strong commitment to providing excellent soccer instruction in a safe environment, where the players will have an enjoyable, positive learning experience.

Shooting Stars is open to both boys and girls from ages 4 and up and focuses on the fundamental soccer concepts,skills and techniques.  Maximum participation opportunities for all children involved, and parents are encouraged to assist and support participants.

A program that offers various stages and individual levels.  Low player to coach ratio for concentrated development.  A fun program which builds self-esteem and
confidence.
